Richard Wagner
Do you enjoy Richard Wagner? Do you call him Dick? His last name is correctly pronounced with a 'v': Vagner. But Philistines call him Richard Wagner, with a 'w'. Like a wagoner, or someone who directs, or drives a mobile wagon. The mistake is even more egregious when those Philistines call him Dick. Dick Wagoner. Here is a photo of the man himself:
