The band, Of Montreal, mentions Friedan in their song, "Women's Studies Victims", which can be found on their album, Skeletal Lamping. It's worth listening to. A decent dance beat, educated, witty lyrics, and a dynamic sound that shifts in a similar version that our universe shifts (if you dig it). Here is that album:
